If you work in the Sydney CBD, the easiest time to look after your smile is often during the working week. Getting veneers takes a few appointments, so it helps to plan them around meetings, lunch breaks and the commute. Here’s how the process works at Sydney Dental Veneers and how to fit it into a busy week.

Where we are

We’re at Suite 302, Level 3, 70 Pitt Street, a short walk from Wynyard and Martin Place stations. The Martin Place Metro and the George Street light rail are also close by. We’re open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. See veneers near Wynyard and Martin Place for directions and parking.

The steps, and how to plan them

  1. Consultation. Your dentist examines your teeth, takes an OPG x-ray and photos, and talks through what you’d like to change. A complimentary smile makeover consultation (valued at $250) is available for applicable patients. Book this at the start or end of the day if you can.
  2. Planning. If veneers suit you, your dentist will explain the options, the number of veneers, and the cost. Take time to think it over.
  3. Preparation. For porcelain veneers, the teeth are prepared and temporary veneers are placed. This is the longest appointment, so a morning or afternoon booking works best.
  4. Fitting. Your veneers are bonded in place. Porcelain veneers are handcrafted in our in-house ceramic lab in North Sydney, usually within about three weeks.

Composite veneers are usually shaped by hand in the chair, which can mean fewer visits.

Costs

Porcelain veneers start from $1,490 per tooth and composite veneers from $700 per tooth. Interest-free payment plans are available, subject to approval. Read porcelain vs composite veneers to compare the two, or see veneer costs.
